Who we are

keymotion.ai ("we") operates the website and motion design tools at keymotion.ai. Contact: privacy@keymotion.ai.

What we collect

• —Waitlist and billing emails, optional name and role
• —Entitlement cookies that record Pro access after checkout
• —Project and generation data you create in the editor (often stored in your browser during soft launch)
• —Reconstruct uploads: processed transiently; video files are deleted after the request
• —Reconstruct provenance logs: content hash, time, entitlement tier, and a session key — not the video itself
• —Technical logs (IP, user agent) as needed for security and abuse prevention
• —Payment data handled by Stripe when billing is enabled — we do not store full card numbers
• —Analytics and advertising measurement data when you consent (see Cookies below), including page views, events, approximate location derived from IP, and device/browser information via Google Analytics 4 and, when campaigns run, Google Ads

How we use data

To provide and improve the service, process payments and entitlements, prevent abuse (including Reconstruct misuse), measure product and marketing performance, attribute conversions from ads, respond to legal requests, and communicate about product updates you opted into.

Subprocessors

We use infrastructure and AI providers to run the product. Reconstruct may send sampled video frames to our vision model provider (currently Anthropic) solely to rebuild your project. Stripe processes payments when enabled. Google processes analytics and advertising measurement data when you consent to those cookie categories (Google Analytics 4; Google Ads when campaigns are active). Providers act under their own terms and our contractual arrangements.

Retention

Reconstruct video uploads are deleted after processing. Provenance logs and waitlist entries are kept as long as needed for security, support, and soft-launch operations, then deleted or anonymized. Analytics event data is retained according to our Google Analytics property settings (typically up to 14 months for user-level data unless shortened). You can ask us to delete waitlist data via the privacy email above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object or port data — including withdrawing cookie consent for analytics and advertising. Contact privacy@keymotion.ai. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority (e.g. the UK ICO).

Cookies

We use three categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• —Essential — session security, entitlement, and consent preference storage. Required for the service to work; always on.
• —Analytics — Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic, landings, and funnel steps (sign-up, generate, export, checkout). Loaded only after you accept analytics.
• —Advertising — Google Ads tags and conversion measurement when paid campaigns run. Loaded only after you accept advertising. Used to measure ad performance and attribute purchases; not used to sell your data as a product.

You can accept, reject, or change analytics and advertising preferences via the cookie banner (or by clearing site data and revisiting). See also our Terms of Service.
